CEBU CITY — Mayor Raymond Alvin Garcia has put an end to street parties during the Sinulog Festival, issuing an executive order that enforces strict rules on public gatherings and business operations during the city's famed celebration.
Through Executive Order 29, signed on Monday, Jan. 6, Garcia officially prohibited street parties and introduced firm regulations to uphold public safety, maintain peace and order, and preserve the solemnity of the festival.
