CEBU CITY — Two Cebu-based labor groups have slammed the Social Security System's (SSS) plan to raise premium rates to 15 percent, arguing that the increase will deepen the financial challenges faced by workers and businesses amid ongoing economic difficulties.
Sentro ng mga Nagkakaisa at Progresibong Manggagawa (Sentro) called the premium hike untimely and unfair, claiming it unfairly shifts the burden of systemic issues onto Filipino workers.
