SEN. Bong Go, vice chairman of the Senate Committee on National Defense, has advocated for the allocation in the 2025 national budget to facilitate the construction of new facilities at Antonio Bautista Air Base in Puerto Princesa, Palawan.
The initiative is designed to strengthen the country's defenses in the West Philippine Sea and improve its readiness for regional disaster response.
