ON Jan. 11, the graduates of Basa Central Elementary School will have their 50th class reunion. I am part of this batch of children of military officers and personnel who grew up in Basa Air Base, Pampanga, which has now become an EDCA military base.
I am now 61 years old, but on most days, I feel I am just 16 years old. I try to have a healthy diet, a daily dose of sunshine, and walk briskly for minutes, even if I do it in the air-conditioned comfort of a shopping mall.
