MANILA, Philippines — It will be storm-free until the weekend except for isolated or scattered rains in some areas in the archipelago, the state weather bureau said on Thursday.

Weather specialist Rhea Torres of the Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) reiterated that it has not monitored any tropical cyclones or low pressure areas (LPAs) inside or outside the Philippine Area of Responsibility in the coming days.
