The Philippine Red Cross deploys its emergency medical unit at the KKK Monument besides Manila City Hall for the upcoming Traslacion or grand procession on the Feast of the Black Nazarene on Jan. 9, 2025. According to the Red Cross, the field hospital has a 50-bed capacity and is equipped with facilities similar to a tertiary hospital's emergency room, including ventilators, IV fluids, oxygen tanks, and patient monitors and can cater to minor wound cleaning with volunteer doctors and nurses.
