ILOILO CITY — Three armed men disguised as law enforcement officers staged a highway robbery in Pilar, Capiz, and carted away P3.1 million from soft drink company employees on Sunday.
The suspects, wearing athletic police uniforms, flagged down the vehicle of the victims in Barangay Sta. Fe at around 9:55 a.m. and identifying themselves as agents of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency.
