THE Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT) on Tuesday expressed its desire for Congress to amend the Anti-Cybercrime Law "to have a more encompassing approach" in addressing digital and online crimes in the country.

DICT Secretary Ivan Uy made the remark in response to questions about whether there was a need for new laws to be crafted to curb cyber-related offenses.
