THE Energy Regulatory Commission (ERC) said it would finish, in the first half of the year, the respective rate resets for National Grid Corp. of the Philippines (NGCP) and Manila Electric Co. (Meralco).
Rate resets are conducted to help ensure that power rates are fair for both consumers and regulated power distribution companies. The process examines proposed project costs and projected expenditures over a five-year period.
