MANILA, Philippines — Donovan Smith dominated the game as he led Phoenix to a come-from-behind 122-108 triumph against hard-luck Terrafirma to keep its playoff hopes alive in the PBA Season 49 Commissioner's Cup on Tuesday evening at the Philsports Arena in Pasig.
The 6-foot-9 Smith used his size to the hilt, pouring in 14 of his 37 points in the second quarter to help the Fuel Masters overhaul an early nine-point deficit en route to regaining control and posting just their second win in seven games.
