No signal jamming during Dinagyang

ILOILO CITY — Mayor Jerry Treñas has rejected the proposal to implement signal jamming in specific areas during the major activities of the Dinagyang Festival this January.

The city mayor's spokesman Joy Fantilaga said the National Telecommunications Commission admitted it lack the necessary technology to confine jamming of mobile phone signals to specific areas.
