PEDRO Simoes, the new managing director of Ford Philippines, made his first official appearance at the company's annual media thanksgiving party in Makati City. Simoes officially assumed the role from Mike Breen on Dec. 1, 2024. Prior to this, Ford Motor Co. reassigned Breen to San Francisco, California, where he will take on a new leadership position.
Simoes, who holds a Bachelor's degree in Engineering and a Master's degree in Material Science Engineering, is originally from Portugal. He has held various marketing positions at Ford since joining the company in 2016. In his opening remarks, Simoes expressed excitement about leading Ford Philippines and emphasized his commitment to continuing the company's growth and success in the local market. His extensive experience in marketing and product development prepared him to maintain the strong momentum that Ford Philippines achieved under Breen's leadership.
