A HOTEL establishment owned by the family of businessman and former Senate president Manuel Villar Jr. owes the Las Piñas city government an estimated P76.3 million in unpaid real property taxes (RPT) and penalties, records from the city treasurer's office show.

But the Villar camp, in belying the claim, pointed out multiple "inaccuracies" in the statements of accounts (SOAs) issued by the city treasury.
