CEBU CITY — The persistent black smoke rising from Mt. Kanlaon, which erupted last month, has raised public concerns.

The Environmental Management Bureau (EMB) in Central Visayas, however, has assured residents that air quality remains at "good" level and poses little to no risks to public health.
