THE Department of Social Welfare and Development – Field Office 7 (DSWD FO-7) is ready to support "Plan Exodus," Canlaon City's local government unit's contingency plan, in the event that Mt. Kanlaon's volcanic activity escalates to Alert Level 4.
DSWD FO-7 Regional Director Shalaine Lucero stated that the field office remained on high alert to monitor the situation in Canlaon City, with increased prepositioning of food and non-food items (FNFIs) in the agency's warehouses and other storage locations in Negros Oriental.
