THE design of the carriage, or andas, that carries the revered Black Nazarene during the annual Traslacion has undergone significant modifications in preparation for the 2025 traditional religious procession.
Quiapo Church's technical adviser for the Jesus Nazareno Fiesta 2025 Alex Irasga said these changes aim to enhance the durability of the structure and discourage devotees from climbing onto it during the event, which has been a growing concern in recent years.
