THE Department of Labor and Employment said workers earning below minimum wage were eligible for government aid under the Ayuda sa Kapos Ang Kita Program (AKAP).
'Those earning below minimum wage can secure salary certification from their employers and submit them to the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD),' said Labor Undersecretary Benjo Benavidez on television on Friday, noting it was mentioned in the special provisions of the General Appropriations Act.
