THE Department of Tourism (DOT) hailed Japan's decision to drop travel advisory levels in some parts of Mindanao because it benefits the country's local tourism industry and would result in increased tourism earnings and job cre-ation in tourism-related entities.
This comes after Japan's Foreign Ministry recently issued an advisory easing travel to some parts of the Philippines for its residents.
