LEGAZPI CITY — The Philippine National Police (PNP) in Bicol reported a peaceful New Year celebration, except for minimal fire-cracker incidents across the region.
PNP Bicol regional spokesperson Maria Luisa "Malu" Calubaquib said that despite the traditional use of firecrackers during the New Year's Day celebration, the region reported only 30 firecracker-related incidents with 30 injuries.
