CEBU CITY — What was supposed to be a promise of a fresh start turned into a devastating tragedy for two families in Cebu after separate firecracker explosions claimed the lives of a young vlogger and a child during New Year's celebrations.
The vlogger was identified as Clifford Amarilla Remis, 23, and a resident of Barangay San Roque, Asturias, who died when a firecracker exploded near his chest and face.
