DUMAGUETE CITY — No firecracker-related incidents were reported in Negros Oriental province during the New Year's Eve celebration, authorities said Wednesday.
Lt. Stephen Polinar, spokesman for the Negros Oriental Police Provincial Office, said police stations did not receive reports of injuries caused by firecrackers and pyrotechnics as people greeted the New Year.
