Many areas will continue to have rain and cloudy skies due to the shear line, northeast monsoon or amihan and the intertropical convergence zone (ITCZ), the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said Tuesday.

The shear line, or the convergence of warm and cold winds, will trigger rain in the eastern portion of Northern Luzon while the northeast monsoon or amihan will bring cloudy skies over the rest of Northern Luzon.
