MANILA, Philippines — Dennis Trillo, who recently won the Metro Manila Film Festival Best Actor award for his film "Green Bones," won the hearts of netizens for donating his P100,000 cash prize to Persons Deprived of Liberty (PDLs).
"I claimed the prize on Dennis' behalf and it was given to me in cash. I was about to give it to Jen [Jennylyn Mercado, Trillo's wife] who then told me to donate it to PDLs," Trillo's road manager Jan Enriquez said on Facebook.
