In 2022, the creative industries contributed 7.3 percent to the GDP, amounting to approximately P1.6 trillion — a remarkable 12 percent increase from the previous year. Employment in the creative sector also surged by 10.5 percent, with 6.98 million Filipinos engaged in these industries, highlighting their role in job creation.
