BACOLOD CITY — The series of flooding that affected several communities in the past few weeks has led the city government of Victorias in Negros Occidental to cancel its planned New Year's Eve countdown and musical concert on Dec. 31.
Mayor Javier Miguel Benitez, in a Facebook post on Friday, said the city government will mobilize "community service and drainage reinforcements" to the affected communities.
