THE Philippines is coordinating with Cambodia for the possible pardon of 13 Filipino women who were convicted for participating in an illegal surrogacy scheme, the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) said.

In a statement shared by the Presidential Communications Office, Foreign Affairs Secretary Enrique Manalo said this was a whole-of-government approach and "many agencies are involved in the effort" to secure the women's return.
