MADDELA, Quirino — Nine people were arrested on Christmas Eve after they allegedly shot and killed two people in front of a restaurant in Barangay Villa Norte in this town at around 12:30 in the morning on the same day.

Quirino police director Col. Paul Gamido reported that the assailants shot and killed Crisel Cayong, 26, and Ejay Rodriguez, 19, in Barangay Divisoria Sur in Maddela town.
