Cagayan's Santa Ana town grapples with POGO ban

WHILE the impact of the ban on Philippine offshore gaming operators (POGOs) in Metro Manila remains limited, the northernmost town of Santa Ana, Cagayan, is reeling from the aftermath of the government's decision to shut down these gaming entities.

Santa Ana, where POGO operations began two decades ago before expanding nationwide, is perhaps the hardest hit by the exodus of these foreign companies.
