MANILA, Philippines — Mary Jane Veloso, the Filipino worker who was staying in a women's correctional facility after she arrived in the country from Indonesia where she spent more than decade on death row for drug trafficking, has been moved to a regular dormitory within the same facility.
Veloso's transfer follows the conclusion of a mandatory five-day quarantine, Bureau of Corrections (BuCor) Director General Gregorio Pio Catapang Jr. announced on Friday.
