IN commemoration of the 60th year of the diplomatic relations between the Islamic Republic of Iran and the Republic of the Philippines, the National Commission for Culture and the Arts (NCCA) and the Cultural Section, Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran-Manila launched the "Philippines-Iran Cultural Exchange: Cultural and Artistic Exhibit" at the NCCA gallery on Dec. 10.
NCCA Executive Director Eric Zerrudo personally curated the exhibit showcasing handcrafted Iranian pieces such as enamel work, khatams (inlaid works) and other extraordinary pieces made of different materials. Ambassador Yousef Esmaeil Zadeh of the Islamic of Iran to the Philippines and Cultural Counsellor Abdolmajid Abolghasemi also graced the program.
