DAVAO CITY — An estimated P5.5 million worth of smuggled cigarettes were confiscated by the authorities at a checkpoint in Barangay Eden, Toril District this city on Monday night, Dec. 23, 2024.
The checkpoint, which was manned by the police and military, intercepted 140 boxes and another six packs of smuggled tobacco with an estimated street value of P5.5 million.
