CEBU CITY — The investigation into the tragic death of a 15-year-old girl after she was gang-raped during the town fiesta has taken a significant turn, with authorities now focusing on the potential involvement of the victim's boyfriend.
The Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (CIDG) in Central Visayas revealed that the girl had informed her mother that she would attend the fiesta celebration with her boyfriend on Dec. 9.
