PERSISTENT rain kept many Filipinos indoors on Christmas Day, muting the holiday festiveness, and the Philippine National Police (PNP) reported no untoward incident across the country.
''Generally peaceful nationwide, as no significant untoward incident is recorded,'' PNP spokesman Brig. Gen. Jean Fajardo told reporters on Wednesday.
