Flooding closes road sections in Samar provinces

(UPDATE) TACLOBAN CITY — Flooding caused by incessant rains closed several road sections in Samar provinces on Monday, Dec. 23, the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) regional office here reported.

Impassable road sections for all types of vehicles are in Catubig and Las Navas towns in Northern Samar. It is within the highway that forms part of the Arteche-Jipapad-Las Navas-Rawis Road, linking Eastern Samar and Northern Samar provinces.
