MANILA, Philippines — Most parts of Luzon, including Metro Manila, will be experiencing cloudy skies with scattered rains and isolated thunderstorms due to the convergence of the hot and cold air called shear line, the state-run weather agency said on Christmas Day.

The good news, according to weather specialist Aldczar Aurelio of the Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa), is that there was no tropical cyclone monitored outside or outside the country's area of responsibility in the coming days.
