MANILA, Philippines — Despite the darkness, don't lose hope.
This was the message of Manila Archbishop Jose Cardinal Advincula to the faithful on Tuesday in his homily on the eve of the celebration of Christmas, saying that 'in a very dark world we are living in, we do not lose hope because the star of Bethlehem will light our path and guide us in our journeys.'
