IT'S been well over a year since Toyota first hinted at the revival of a Philippine automotive icon. In 2023, the company revealed the IMV-0 concept, sparking widespread speculation that one of the country's most beloved workhorses — the Toyota Tamaraw — was poised for a comeback.
That speculation turned into reality on Dec. 6, 2024, as Toyota Motor Philippines (TMP) officially unveiled the next-generation Tamaraw at multiple key locations nationwide, with the main ceremony taking place at the Glorietta Activity Center in Makati City.
