MANILA, Philippines — Iloilo International Airport fully resumed normal operations following a temporary runway closure on Dec. 22, 2024 for urgent safety repairs, the Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (CAAP) announced on Monday.

The closure, from 7:15 a.m. to 11 a.m. was prompted by the discovery of two potholes on Runway 02.
