Japan grants $2.58M to strengthen peace, security in Bangsamoro

The Japanese government has provided a $2.58 million grant to bolster peacebuilding and security efforts in the Bangsamoro region. Implemented by the International Organization for Migration (IOM), the project included the rehabilitation of four Joint Peace and Security Team (JPST) stations damaged by natural disasters, along with the installation of solar power systems and upgraded water facilities at six stations to enhance operational efficiency.
