BATANGAS CITY — The People's Coalition Against Crime and Corruption Group expressed frustration over the failure of the mayor and vice mayor of Mataas na Kahoy town in Batangas to attend a congressional inquiry into various allegations the group raised against the two officials.
Mataas na Kahoy Mayor Janet Ilagan and Vice Mayor Jay Manalo Ilagan were invited by Congress to shed light on the alleged misuse of public funds and irregularities in the municipality.
