Baguio tightens water, food safety measures

BAGUIO CITY — Sanitation inspectors are closely monitoring drinking water being served in food establishments, including water sources, to avoid a repeat of diarrhea or acute gastroenteritis (AGE) outbreak that hit the Summer Capital earlier this year.

Mayor Benjamin Magalong directed concerned agencies in the city to monitor the safety of water sources, including private deep wells and bulk water delivery companies.
