THE unholy trinity of the Communist Party of the Philippines, New People's Army and National Democratic Front (CPP-NPA-NDF or CNN) and so-called progressive groups never cease to find relevance in the lives of the Filipinos. On Dec. 2, Akbayan Party-list Rep. Percival Cendaña endorsed the first impeachment complaint filed against Vice President Sara Duterte. Two days later, a second impeachment complaint was filed and endorsed by Representatives Raoul Manuel of Kabataan Partylist, Arlene Brosas of Gabriela Women's Party-list and convicted felon France Castro of the Alliance of Concerned Teachers Party-list. Their groups form the Makabayan bloc.
