CEBU CITY — Local authorities have issued a warning against approaching the carcass of a sperm whale found in the waters of Banakon Island on Tuesday, Dec. 17.
The Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources – Central Visayas (BFAR-7) has advised residents to stay clear of the deceased sea creature to avoid potential health risks associated with decaying animal remains.
