Mayor slams delayed drainage project

ILOILO CITY — Mayor Jerry Treñas of this city expressed frustration over the delayed completion of a drainage system project in the city proper district undertaken by the Department of Public Works and Highways-Iloilo City District Engineering Office (DPWH-Icdeo).

In a letter dated Dec. 17 to DPWH Secretary Manuel Bonoan, the city mayor slammed the apparent lack of urgency of the Icdeo, led by District Engineer Roy Pacanan.
