YES, I was a loser in the senatorial race in 2022, with only 3,730,164 votes. I ranked 30th out of 64 candidates, ahead of some well-fueled candidates. Given the meager resources that I actually spent, I wasn't a big loser.

But I got more votes than any sitting representative of the lower house. Speaker Martin Romualdez, who ran unopposed in his district, garnered 181,480 votes. The Anti-Crime and Terrorism Community Involvement and Support topped the party-list race, receiving 2,111,091 votes, securing three seats in the 19th Congress.
