THE Commission on Elections (Comelec) has moved from end-December to early next year the printing of 73 million ballots for the 2025 midterm polls to give way to the resolution of nuisance candidate cases at the local level.
"The adjustment on the printing schedule is necessary to give way to the resolution of pending nuisance cases and avoid the perception that we are rushing things out," Comelec Chairman George Erwin Garcia said.
