Marcos names new Air Force chief

MANILA, Philippines — President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. has named Lt. Gen. Arthur Cordura as the new commanding general of the Philippines Air Force (PAF).

A graduate of the Philippines Military Academy (PMA) 'Tanglaw-Diwa' Class of 1992, Cordura takes over from Lt. Gen. Stephen Parreño who reached the mandatory retirement age of 56 last December 12.
