Contecon Guayaquil boosts Asia-South America trade

CONTECON Guayaquil (CGSA), Ecuador's leading port and a subsidiary of International Container Terminal Services Inc. (ICTSI), has rejoined the Asia-South America (ASA) service, restoring its connection to five major shipping lines.

The agreement brings Wan Hai, Pacific International Lines, Cosco, Evergreen, and Yang Ming back to the terminal. The ASA service was previously called at Contecon Guayaquil until 2015, with operations resuming in the first week of November.
