MANILA, Philippines — A magnitude 4.8 earthquake shook the province of Negros Occidental on Tuesday afternoon, the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) said.
The tremor took place at 3:37 p.m. some two kilometers (kms) northeast of Hinoba-an town, the agency said.
