ILOILO CITY — The University of the Philippines Visayas (UPV) has officially begun the construction of its own law building at the Iloilo City campus, three years after establishing the first extension of the UP College of Law outside its main campus in Diliman, Quezon City.

Former senator and current Department of Education Secretary Sonny Angara led the groundbreaking ceremony on Friday, Dec. 13.
